This course will focus on the unique challenges lawyers face in handling high-conflict cases and clients experiencing intense emotions. Additionally, this course will provide insights into key milestones, best practices, and effective strategies for promoting civility and maintaining professionalism, with a focus on Family Law, including divorce, conservatorship, and support cases.Participants will learn strategies for conducting realistic case evaluations, establishing clear and compassionate client communication, and implementing provisions to uphold fiduciary duties. This session will also cover ethical billing practices and explore the ways poor billing habits can erode client trust. Lastly, participants will uncover how to identify common pitfalls and warning signs and discover practical solutions for managing complex client dynamics while ensuring ethical, client-centered representation.
